The result: Holiday Happenings – a professionally curated website and marketing platform showcasing everything magical happening in Salem during the holiday season.

The 2026 season is coming.
Last year, 47 Salem businesses stopped marketing the holidays alone and did it together — one season, one calendar, one plan. It worked.
Santa arrives and the tree lights up on Friday, November 27. Small Business Saturday follows on November 28. Wassail Weekend, the Window Contest, and a downtown full of holiday events fill out the season from there.
